Just a few minutes walk will take you to the award-winning Fish Restaurant and Bar at 'The Swan', while the Castle Marsh Nature Reserve, the River Waveney and Marsh Trail are all close by.

If you do need to wander from the comfort of Springlake then you will find it an ideal base from which to explore some of the best attractions of East Anglia.

The attractive old market towns of Beccles, Bungay and Halesworth are only a short drive away. To the east the towns of Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Southwold offer their varied delights of seaside pleasures. To the South, the natural coastline villages of Walberswick and Dunwich with the RSPB reserve at Minsmere offer a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere for those chilled out days.

About 20 miles away is the 'Fine City of Norwich', with its Cathedrals, Theatres, and Shops. Further afield, but still within easy reach is the North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads offering an alluring array of wildlife.
